These floral arrangements, filled with vibrant bouquets, lizards, and cats, represent some of Araki's most beautiful work to date. The reproductions are sumptuous. As might be imagined, Araki's attention is overwhelmingly focused on the sensual/sexual aspects of flowers. The results are as authoritatively seen as any images by either Mapplethorpe or Blossfeldt.
