Pio Tarantini (Italian Edition)

A photographer from Salento who has lived in Milan since the early 70s, Tarantini takes pictures on the themes of memory, the impermanence of any representation of reality, and the recourse to situations, places and things loaded with symbolism. His photographs-twilight or surreal landscapes, some with fleeting human apparitions and other elusive figures-suggest reflections on time and the ways in which reality is perceived.
