This book is articulated around a number of geographies fundamental to Olivo
Barbieri’s experience and presents photographs from his regular travels to the
Far East and in particular China taken over the last decade. His images grasp
moments in time, bringing with them changes in scale and perception which
result in the transformation of both ancient as well as rapidly developing worlds.
