From the Land of Miracles

Can a tormented land, disputed by two peoples, continuously flooded by hatred and blood, be called a “land of miracles”?

Lamm’s Palestine does not hide the wounds of an everyday reality made of death, nor does it forget to record retaliation. She gathers fragments of images and juxtaposes them with delicate, sweet, funny, and sometimes anachronistic pieces to tell how grotesque, abstract, and sadly real daily life is in a land where the true miracle is to wake up every morning and try to live normally.
