Between 1959 and 1963 artist Saul Steinberg and photographer Inge Morath collaborated on a certain (fun) little project that is as revealing as it is comical. Steinberg provided the masks, often made of brown paper bag or cut from corrugated cardboard, while Morath photographed, and implicated, friends and acquaintances in their Masquerade.
