A story of dairy farming

The book is describing the story of a herd of cows, which is raised under the principles never to slaughter any cow, milk them by hand, give oxen meaningful farm work and to keep mother cows and calves together, unlike the practice of conventional dairy farms. The results are: a happy herd of cows, nutritious milk free from antibiotics and hormones, a fully organic farm and a balanced eco system. The author of the book claims that running a farm like this and becoming vegetarian would be a way forward for the future, as it is climate-friendly, in harmony with nature and if people will go back to farming in the UK many jobs will be created.
