A Quiet Place to Live

A Quiet Place to Live

by Pamela Testa

“A Quiet Place to Live” contains a selection of pictures portraying some of the places that I visited while on a still-ongoing journey through my home land. The photographs gathered here were all taken in the province of L’Aquila, Abruzzo; they are intended to be part of an evolving catalogue dedicated to the endangered places and surviving landscapes of this land. The original shots were taken with Fujifilm instant film FP100-C and here are printed in risograph converting the four-color process of the film in just three colors. Imperfections and misalignments are a peculiar feature of this printing process, so every copy must be considered a unique piece. Design by Piergiorgio Italiano 32 pp. 29.7 ✕ 21 cm Black, blue and red Risograph print, soft cover Edition of 50 Published by Barracuda, Independent publishing platform based in Milano, Italy
