Aid and Comfort to the Enemy is the story of the 934th Forward Surgical Team's remarkable journey into and through Iraq during the first and second phases of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Through photographs, diary entries and personal narrative the unit's orthopedic surgeon provides an intimate view of the lives and events of the early, conventional stage of the war while examining issues of morality, patriotism and duty.
