I'll be late tonight

Based on the author’s personal experience of living as an expatriate woman in a gated residence in Russia, 'I'll be late tonight' is a meditation on family, love, isolation and status of women in contemporary society. The book is challenging the myth of domestic bliss and addresses the idea of home as a place of resistance, from a subjective experience, where identities involve a performative, and ultimately isolating act.
