Ships come and go - they are in motion and they stay in different places for a certain time - a temporary standstill.
The ships tell me about the wear and tear of the surfaces their biography - where and how long they were on the move, what they experienced on their journeys. Like the worn coat of a traveller. A snapshot of colour, form and structure - everything could look different tomorrow. These stories interest me. And not the perfection of smooth surfaces.
