Bauhaus Dessau

As a school of design, the Bauhaus was one of the most important and momentous cultural phenomena of the 20th century and revolutionized artistic and architectural thinking and work. The Bauhaus buildings are central works of the radical renewal of architecture and design and stand for the flowering of modernism, which started here and had a worldwide impact. The conceptual photo project "Bauhaus Dessau" shows in several partial series the Bauhaus buildings in Dessau in the artistic style of various Bauhäusler: Marianne Brandt, Lyonel Feininger, Wassily Kandinsky and László Moholy-Nagy. The architectural photographs combine the artistic concepts or working methods of the protagonists and the groundbreaking architecture of the Bauhaus to create a new and creative view of the Bauhaus Dessau.
