Stockholm Portraits - Unique Stores

I appreciate the enthusiast and the entrepreneur. To bring forward the unique shops and their owners I have portrayed retailers and enthusiast shopkeepers in the Stockholm area in a personal project.

During the last decades we have seen many of the smaller specialty stores being replaced by larger chains and often also moved to large shopping centers outside of the city. Some of the historical shops still remain and luckily new ones are created. The old and new retailers have one in common; a true interest and a deep knowledge in their specialty subject. In the project I want to show their fervor and to show the possibilities created by the entrepreneur.

The project result is now available as a photo book "Stockholm Portraits - Unique shops", published by TNF. To acknowledge the uniqueness of he 30 portrayed shops each of them have their own book cover. There is also a separate insert with all texts translated to English. The book with 89 pages is available in your local (Swedish) book store.
