At the end of 2023, Kinga Owczennikow and Philipp Zechner began a photographic exchange of a special kind. Without ever having met in person and knowing each other only through their work, they began a discourse in which one of them posted an image and the other responded with an image before suggesting one of their own. Their shared interest in travel, cityscapes and urban serendipity led to remarkable constellations in which the responding images sometimes reflected a place one of the photographers had previously traveled to, sometimes captured a color or a theme, creating a coherent work in which boundaries blurred and the photographers themselves asked who had contributed what.
