There are very few pivotal times in a person's life after which things are never the same. Working in Palermo was the final chapter of one of those pivotal times in my life, which I believe has shaped the person I am today. And what a privilege to be able to live that life the way I did, with so many great memories to remember and valuable lessons to learn. To be able to live on the edge and still enjoy every second of it.

Siciliani is my homage to Palermo, 7 years after I left the city. It took me 7 years to scan all my negatives and edit my digital photos to make this book. And let this be a closure to this open-ended project.
