VITA

VITA

by Michael Hagen

In VITA, color images are overlaid with digital, ice-like structures that partially obscure the motifs and alter their visibility. The black-and-white works revisit the same motifs, reducing them through fragmentation and contrast to their formal elements.

The two layers of images are presented in relation to each other, highlighting differences in structure, detail, and legibility.
