In the year 990,the archbishop of Canterbury, Sigeric travelled between Rome and Canterbury. Sigeric used this itinerary travelling back from Rome, where he received the Pallium from the Pope Giovanni XV. The archbishop described the 80 stages of his itinerary towards Canterbury in a journal. My work focuses on the Italian part (about 1013km) of the Francigena way.
The book (24x30; 125 pages, 74 pictures) is a limited edition of 120 copies and inside I will host an exclusive essay written by Francesco Esposito, journalist and television author for Rai, La7 and Tv 2000. The photographic book is on sale at the international bookshop Hoepli in Milan(and on its online store)and at Armani bookstore in Milan.
