Jamnesia

Jamnesia is a long-form photographic project documenting the culture and community of roller derby through the wet plate collodion process. Created over multiple years and across dozens of leagues, the work explores identity, resilience, gender, labor, and belonging within one of the world's most dynamic grassroots sports communities. By combining a nineteenth-century photographic process with contemporary subjects, Jamnesia challenges assumptions about both historical photography and modern athleticism.
