Art critic David Bourdon's close and long-standing friendship with Pop artist Andy Warhol enables him to provide a biography which combines personal experience and knowledge of Warhol with serious explication and criticism of his work. Prints of Warhol's pieces, as well as photos of himself and members of his Underground group, are interspersed with biographical text.
