Georgia O'Keeffe spent the last 40 years of her life in New Mexico, an area that became a direct force in her paintings. Though adamantly reclusive, O'Keeffe permitted Myron Wood to photograph her homes in both Abiquiu and Ghost Ranch for seven years before her death. Wood's lyrical photographs do more than merely document the architecture of her houses; they, along with the text, present a rare portrait of the dwelling of a creative and remarkable woman.
