While scouting locations of scenic views of Los Angeles for his commercial work, Don Normark instead discovered Chávez Ravine, a thriving rural community seated just beyond the city's hills. These images record a lost community, still fondly recalled by residents forty years after the town was demolished to build Dodger Stadium.
