Weston's Westons: California and the West

Not to be confused with Charis Wilson Weston's California and the West, this is the second volume of Weston's Westons, a sumptuous two-volume retrospective of his work. Initially published as the catalog for the 1994 exhibition at Boston's Museum of Fine Arts, California and the West draws familiar and never-before-published landscapes from the largest collection of prints made by Weston himself, the Lane Collection. All of the photographs in this lovely edition are printed in luminous tritone with special tinted varnishes, and sized to approximate the appearance of the actual prints from the collection.
