The third and final monograph in the Boston Museum of Fine Art's acclaimed Edward Weston series, Photography and Modernism assembles a very distinct and considerable body of work exploring Weston's influence on Modernist aesthetics. There are three substantial essays dividing the work into thematic sections, many rare images published for the first time, and rich, tritone illustrations that were all produced from Weston's own vintage prints.
