In Response to Place: Photographs from the Nature Conservancy's Last Great Places

200 conservation projects throughout North and South America, the Caribbean, and around the Pacific Rim have been designated by The Nature Conservancy as the Last Great Places. To promote awareness about these projects, 12 of the world's most prominent photographers were asked to make images specifically for this book: Mary Ellen Mark, Terry Evans, Lynn Davis, Lee Friedlander, Richard Misrach, Sally Mann, and others.
