Betty Hahn: Photography or Maybe Not

Multi-media artist Betty Hahn has been making photographs for over thirty years. A key figure in the revival of nineteenth-century non-silver processes (gum bichromate, Van Dyke, cyanotype), she incorporates these processes with other artistic media to create her own vision. Hahn experiments with photographic imagery on fabric with stitching, makes photographs using a toy camera, and was among the first artists to use the 20x24 Polaroid camera. This book is a fascinating retrospective of the work of one of the most free-thinking artists of this century.
