Irving Haberman spent forty years as a newspaper and magazine photographer, mainly in New York City. Covering virtually every kind of media event, from celebrity weddings to gang violence to rocket launches, Haberman spent his professional career photographing mid-century America. The book is divided into four sections, each with legendary newsman Walter Cronkite's commentary as an introduction. The photographs are well-reproduced, making this a lovely retrospective of Haberman's work.
