Michal Rovner

by Sylvia Wolf

Publisher's Description
Michal Rovner has developed a style of photography which is uniquely her own. Originally from Tel Aviv, she came to New York in 1988, where she gained a reputation for her distinctive work. The images--Polaroids which are later enlarged and sometimes colored--convey an ethereal, subconscious view of the world. From studies of a dilapidated house to images from the Gulf War, all of the photographs in this collection are striking and unique.
