For ten years, the Nevada Museum of Art in Reno has been collecting untraditional landscapes for the Carol Franc Buck Collection. Exemplified by photographers Patrick Nagatani, John Pfahl, and Mark Klett, The Altered Landscape represents a growing tradition of photography confronting land use issues and traditional aesthetics.
