Dog Days

Silverman, a former associate curator for the International Center of Photography, was also the editor of the award winning book The Dog Observed. In this calander, photographs of dogs by such artists as Martin Munkacsi, Bruce Weber, and William Wegman are presented alone and with their famous owners, among them Jack London, Doris Day, and James Herriot. A lined page for seven days of each week of the year accompanies every dog.
