Arnold Newman in Florida

Known primarily for his environmental portraits in which his subjects are integrated into their working or living habitats, Arnold Newman's early work done in Florida has been virtually ignored. Here for the first time is a large body of that work ranging from abstracts, still lifes, portraits, to cutouts and collages. One sees here the work of a highly creative, probing artist, making his later work even more fascinating.
