In Focus: Alfred Stieglitz : Photographs from the J. Paul Getty Museum

The third volume in the Getty Museum's In Focus series, this book explores the work of Alfred Stieglitz, who has often been called the most influential figure in art photography. Drawing from the holdings of the Getty Museum, curator Weston Naef has compiled a wide-ranging collection of images for this book, illustrating the depth and variety of Stieglitz's photographs. The book also includes an edited transcription of a colloquium on Stieglitz's work. Participants of the colloquium were Emmet Gowin, Sarah Greenough, Charles Hagen, John Szarkowski, and Weston Naef.
