Slavin, well known for his book When Two or More Are Gathered, a collection of color photographs of various groups and societies, continues to work with group portraiture in this, his latest book. Traveling around Britain with an enormous 20x24 Polaroid camera, he has assembled what could be taken as a national portrait on a grand scale. His diverse subjects range from the Woman's League of Health and Beauty to the Royal Shakespeare Company. A beautiful, large book befitting of his subjects and camera.
