Photography and Art: Interactions Since 1946

This volume provides a comparative history of developments in photography, painting, sculpture, and other fine arts in the post-war period, tracing the cross-fertilization of ideas in different disciplines in contemporary art. Illustrated with over 200 reproductions of work by photographers and artists, Photography and Art is published in conjunction with a major traveling exhibition showing in 1987 at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art and the Museum of Art in Fort Lauderdale.
