Published in conjunction with a 1990 exhibit at the University of Chicago's Renaissance Society, this monograph presents a cross-section of German photographer Thomas Struth's urban landscape work. Nicely designed and reproduced, the book includes images made in cities throughout Europe, as well Tokyo and New York. An essay by Benjamin H. D. Buchloh precedes the plates.
