Viewing Olmsted: Photographs by Robert Burley, Lee Friedlander, and Geoffrey James

Perhaps more so than any other architect, Frederick Law Olmsted has defined the state of naturalism in American Cities. This book, sponsored by the Canadian Centre for Architecture, is an exploration of the present state of Olmsted's parks, estates, cemeteries, and sub-divisions. It accompanies a major exhibition at the CCA. It also contains the finest reproductions of Lee Friedlander's photographs currently in print.
