Taylor, a founder of Art & Text magazine and guest curator at the National Gallery of Victoria in Melbourne for the influential 1982 exhibition "Popism," has brought together texts ranging from a proto-Pop Situationist manifesto of 1959 to reflections by Roland Barthes and Jean Baudrillard, looking at Pop's relevance from a 1980's perspective.
