Much of the advice relates to creating vignettes, fractured effects, shadows, textures, and special effects. There's also a useful chapter on Web graphics and a discussion of copyright issues to be aware of when acquiring artwork for your collages. The chapter, "The Visual Clues of Photomontage," discusses design concepts such as consistent lighting, color balance, and atmospheric and linear perspective. This is an outstanding book for Photoshop users who are ready to move on to sophisticated collages and similar compositions.
