Arms Against Fury: Magnum Photographers in Afghanistan

The Magnum agency has had photographers in Afghanistan for decades, dating back to founder George Rodger's documentation of the country's role in WWII. Arms Against Fury seeks to explore the social and historical condition of the people and their struggle for identity in the 20th century. Photographers Abbas, Steve McCurry, and Elliott Erwitt, among others, have each crisscrossed the country, telling a tale of confusion and despair with their images.
