Handbook with Footnotes

Eve Arnold is a Fellow of the Royal Photographic Society and a member of Magnum since 1955. Her book, Eve Arnold: Film Journal, is a classic combination of photographs and text, including eighty previously unpublished pictures. In 1995 she was elected 'Master Photographer', the world's most prestigious photographic honour, awarded by New York's International Center of Photography. The photographer always photographed the hands - and sometimes the feet - of her sitters; her recent beautifully produced Handbook (With Footnotes) is a selection of two hundred of these photographs, in colour and black and white, spanning Eve’s entire career.
