Jem Southam: Shape of Time - Rockfalls, Rivermouths, Ponds

Taking visual cues from fellow-European photographers Andreas Gursky and Thomas Struth, Jem Southam has decided to focus his attention on the coastal regions of England, specifically the ponds, rockfalls and rivermouths that dot the cliffs and general landscape. Working in color and using a large-format camera, these gentle and inviting studies of the land have a structured quiet that is born of a mature vision.
