LA Frontera: The United States Border with Mexico

Jay Dusard, author of the exquisite monograph The North American Cowboy (1983), has produced this portrait of those who live on our Southern border. Traveling with the journalist Alan Weisman, from Brownsville and Matamoros on the Gulf coast, to the San Diego and Tijuana area on the Pacific, Dusard gives us a unique opportunity to study the region and helps us gain a greater understanding of the issues underlying the problems there.
