A new series begun by Jean-Michel Place Editions entitled Modern Photography "sets out to publish the little-known work of photographers who have marked the history of their medium"--the publisher. This is the first title in the collection and seeks to further illuminate the work of a remarkable woman photographer, Tina Modotti. The lucid essays are in English and provide valuable information. With this initial effort, the series promises to keep our attention.
