L'impossible oubli: Les camps nazis cinquante ans apres (French Edition)

Containing over 100 duotone illustrations of the Nazi death camps, photographed by Kenna between the years 1998 and 2000, L'Impossible Oubli is a moving and important book. Kenna travelled to 28 different sites, including the infamous Auschwitz and Buchenwald, as well as many others, too numerous to list here. This is some of Kenna's most powerful work to date, in part, perhaps, because of the intensity of the history surrounding his chosen subject; his mastery of the black-and-white photograph shines through, at times poetic, sometimes stark. The two short essays, by Borhan and Cheroux, are in French only.
