On Photography

Susan Sontag's controversial collection of essays on photography. Originally published in the New York Review of Books, the essays deal with the work of individual photographers (Atget, Sander, Evans, Frank, and Arbus, to name just a few) as well as with larger historical and philosophical issues regarding photography.
