Robert Coles and Alex Harris have taken the famous collaboration of Walker Evans and James Agee's Let Us Now Praise Famous Men as the model for their numerous, joint documentary projects. The recurrent themes of dignity, humanity, and strength, as well as the authors's dedication to finding vital role models, are here explored in the lives of America's senior citizens. Photographer Thomas Roma joins them for this encouraging and informative documentary.
