I have been an Architect for over 40 years. I have always used a camera. First film, then digital, enjoying the technical freedom of experimentation. I, through my clients, have come to look for the surprise or unexpected image within the more mundane items of every day life. Often times, the objects I photograph are elements that I worked with within my former professional life. I know these objects well, but now I see how the;y function in a different light.
Is it a stain on the wall or only an ugly blot? Is peeling paint to be totally disregarded and scraped away? Is a shadow more than just a dark spot? So squint your eyes, let the images blur, allow your imagination to run amok.
