A photographer-writer, I have been published nationally and internationally and have credits with National Geographic magazine for which I did several stories. My career spreads over four decades spent in West Africa, Haiti, New Mexico and Florida where I currently live. A former Reuters News Pictures photo correspondent in Haiti for ten years during which I recorded the political unrest, I am also the author/photographer of more than a dozen children's photo books for two Haitian publishers. In addition, I was the co-creator of an on-going long-term project of exploration, promotion and conservation of the caves of Haiti, for which I photographed the expeditions and produced two publications. I currently also focus my lens on birds with the same enthusiasm and have produced a photo book on the subject "Glimpses of Iconic Birds of Florida".
Blending my passions for photography and travel, I organize and lead my own photo tours designed for photo enthusiasts.
