Born and raised in China, Chen Shen is a photographer and artist currently based in Beijing City. His work has been exhibited internationally, with venues including Aperture Gallery, Cranbrook Art Museum. His work has been featured on website such as Badatsports.com, Detroit Center for Contemporary Photography.
Chen Shen is a recipient of the American Photography 30 Selected Winner and the Best 20 Entries of Leica Oscar Barnack Newcomer Award 2014.
He holds a MFA in photography from Cranbrook Academy of Art, Michigan; a Master of Science in New Media from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong; and a Bachelor of Arts in International Politics from Peking University, Beijing.
