Clare Gallagher is a Northern Irish artist whose work focuses on the ordinary, everyday experiences of home. A photography lecturer since 2003, she teaches on the BA, MFA and PhD programmes at the Belfast School of Art, Ulster University. Clare’s book The Second Shift was named as one of The Guardian’s top 15 photobooks of 2019 and her work has been exhibited internationally, including in Finland, Lithuania, Italy and Ireland in 2020.
