After moving to our town in 1993, I became intrigued by a decaying lighthouse located a mile offshore. A 2003 renovation led me to becoming the president of their foundation, and in 2013 started shooting RI lighthouses at night. The Coast Guard contacts made through the preservation work allowed access to their properties, first in RI, then eventually to all of New England. My first book was released in December 2017, and I continue shooting lighthouses at night, currently concentrating on the Great Lakes.
