Photographer with 9 years experience who enjoys shooting with both film and digital in the tradition of Berenice Abbott, David Vestal, Wijnanda Deroo, Brassaï, and other documentary photographers, but with a contemplative and metaphysical aesthetic.
Currently working with both digital and analog, my work deals with expression, history, time, mood, and place – both the experience of the now and its dislocation. My tools of the trade are her Canon 40D & 6D, Nikon FM, Zeiss Ikon Contessa, and Bronica ETRSi. My studio is located in a 19th-century historic artists’ building overlooking New York City's Union Square Park, across the street from Andy Warhol’s legendary Factory (1974-1984).
My photograph, “Towards the Light, 8th Avenue, 2018”, from Ghost Waltz, Volume I, will be on display at Las Laguna Gallery’s online group exhibition, “Photography”, starting on December 1st. The show runs until December 31st, 2020.
