Photographer with over 10 years experience who enjoys shooting with both film and digital in the tradition of Berenice Abbott, David Vestal, Wijnanda Deroo, Brassaï, Henry Callahan, and other documentary photographers, but with a contemplative and metaphysical aesthetic.
Currently working with both digital and analog, her work deals with expression, history, time, mood, place, and absence – both the experience of the now and its dislocation. Her tools of the trade are her Canon 6D, Nikon FM, Zeiss Ikon Contessa, and Bronica ETRSi. Her studio is located in a 19th-century historic artists’ building overlooking New York City's Union Square Park, across the street from Andy Warhol’s legendary Factory (1974-1984). Diana has exhibited at group exhibitions at Las Laguna Art Gallery in Laguna Beach in 2020 and 2021, and at Black Box Gallery in Portland in 2025. She was also published in The Photo Review Journal as a winner of their prestigious 2025 International Photography Competition.
